Maurice Mom Boucher Early Life / Personal Life

Maurice Mom Boucher was born on 21 June, 1953 in Causapscal, Quebec, later moving to inner-city Montreal when he was two years old.

He turned to crime early on after dropping out of school in year 9 and convicted of 3 break and enters in 1974 and placed in detention for almost 6 months. In November 1975 Mom Boucher was charged with an armed robbery and sentenced to 40 months prison.

From around 1982 until 1987 Maurice Boucher was a member of the SS Club, which was a white supremacist motorcycle club. Along with him in SS was Salvatore Cazzetta, who would go on to found Rock Machine MC and war against the Hells Angels for years to come. Salvatore Cazzetta was said to have had the opportunity to also join the Hells Angels, but declined based on the events of the Lennoxville Massacre.

In 1987 (reportedly on 1 May, 1987) Maurice Boucher became a member of the Hells Angels Montreal Chapter.

Around 1995 (reportedly 24 June, 1995) he was responsible for forming a Nomads chapter of the Hells Angels, where rumours were that he was planning to corner the drug market throughout Quebec.

Maurice Boucher was involved in the events behind the Quebec Biker War, a battle which ran from 1994 until 2002. The Quebec Biker War took over 162 lives, with hundreds more injured. When police ramped up their focus on the Nomad chapter of the Hells Angels Mom Boucher increased the pressure put on those working in law enforcement, by way of intimidation.

In 1998 he is acquitted of ordering the murder of two prison guards and the attempted murder of a third and sentenced to life in prison. Police performed further investigations and in 2000 were successful in their appeals process and re-arrest Boucher. Law enforcement were able to obtain an informant, Stéphane Gagné, also known as Godasse, a man who was involved in the murders and stated that they were ordered by Maurice Boucher. In May 2002 Boucher is found guilty and sentenced to life in prison.

In around April 2014, while still serving his prison sentence, Mom Boucher was reportedly expelled from Hells Angels MC.
