DC Eagles MC Crime / In The Media

2014 – 7 June, 2014. A group of DC Eagles, which included up to a reported 70 bikes, were on a cemetery run in the Bedford Park area of South Chicago visiting the graves of fallen brothers when they encountered road rage. A car driven by Chiquita Stevenson began to swerve at the group of riders and a chase ensued. At one point during the chase DC Eagles member Joshua Deford (also known as Rambo), age 23, crashed. He is killed. Joshua Deford was a veteran in the US Army Infantry having served in the 101st Airborne Division.

The bikers pulled into the driveway of the Bedford Police Station, the car followed them and hit another rider.

Chiquita Stevenson, age 27, is charged on two counts of attempted murder for hitting the rider with her car in the police station driveway and sent to Cook County Jail with bail set at $500,000. She had previously been charged with battery in 2012. Chiquita Stevenson’s boyfriend, Nicholas Williams, claims that the aggression began after her windscreen was smashed by the bikers and that she had given chase to the pack of 70 motorcycles in order to capture their licence plates.

The case has been delayed multiple times and as at the time of writing the Cook County Sheriff Inmate Locator reports that her court proceedings are ongoing.
